Mandatory Travel Destinations in Chiang Rai

Singha Park is a tourist area located in northern Thailand, namely in the city of Chiang Rai. To visit Singha Park, you can use motorized vehicles, taxis, and online transportation that can be used in Thailand. For online transportation costs are usually around 80,000 - 100,000 rupiah because the distance between Singha Park and the city center is quite far, while the distance between Singha Park and White Temple is only around 10 minutes.

The right time to visit Singha Park is in the afternoon or when the sun is not too hot, so we can enjoy the entire Singha Park area which is around 12 km. Singha Park is not just a park, but in Singha Park there is also a zoo in which there is a giraffe, unfortunately I have not been there twice to see the giraffe directly, only had the opportunity to see deer, cows, etc. In addition, in Singha Park there are also very beautiful lakes equipped with green views around it. Singha park is the right place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Chiang Rai, where Chiang Rai is also in the highlands of Thailand.

For tourists who want to get around Singha Park also provides a tour bus with a ticket cost of 50 baht per person, then there are also mountain bikes for rent at a cost of 150 baht per hour. For those who use a tour bus, usually taken around to see the zoo, tea plantations, to stop by the beautiful flower gardens such as in Europe where the surrounding areas are planted with lots of sunflowers that make the scenery more beautiful and cool. When stopping at the tea plantations also provided a place to borrow the clothes of traditional Thai farmers to take pictures complete with the tools used when picking tea. To borrow these clothes, there is no charge, we are free to choose which clothes we want to use, but the time given is very short to take pictures. Besides that on the tour bus there are guides who explain about Singha Park, unfortunately I don't understand what they are talking about because using Thai. I hope that they are now using English-speaking guides, because it is a pity this excellent tourist site is not equipped with language accessibility for foreign tourists. 

The second time I went there on a motorcycle, my friend and I were more free to explore Singha Park and visit every corner of Singha Park. My friend and I found a temple with quite a lot of stairs, then there was also a small cottage on the edge of the lake which was very beautiful. We spent time sitting enjoying the green lake due to the reflection of the plants around it, the small cottage was very suitable to be a place to relax and enjoy the cool scenery around it. 

My friend and I relax for a while around Barn House, a glass building, one of which is the hallmark of Singha Park, around Barn House there is a large park with colorful houses that is great for taking pictures, then around it there are various kinds of food for sale in small cafes. We tried delicious crepes with chocolate sprinkles and the price was also affordable. Near this cafe, there are also small birds and trainers who usually visitors can also interact with these birds. 

In addition we also visited the tea garden near a luxury restaurant which is also in Singha Park, near the tea garden there is a tower that is used to see the view from above and there is also a ribbon of love where people put ribbons and tie it there. Not far from this tea garden, there is a large restaurant located in the highlands, so that from the top of this restaurant you can see firsthand the views of the tea gardens, the lake around, and green trees which are very beautiful. If you are in Chiang Rai when winter you will probably be lucky because there is a balloon festival at Singha Park and a jazz music festival.
